Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we collect when you use Creeklytics, why, and how you stay in control.
1. What we collect
- Account details from Google when you sign in: your name, email address and profile picture. We never see or store your Google password.
- Your content: workbooks, sheets, comments, saved questions and settings you create.
- Connection details for services you link, such as a warehouse address and access key. Keys are stored encrypted.
- Usage information: which features you use, the number of AI questions asked, response times, error reports and ratings you give answers.
2. How we use it
- To run Creeklytics: sign you in, save your work, answer your questions and share workbooks with people you invite.
- To keep the service safe: prevent abuse, enforce the free plan limit and investigate problems.
- To improve the product: understand which features help, and fix answers people rate as unhelpful.
- To contact you about your account, important changes, or support requests.
3. What we never do
- We never sell or rent your personal information or your data.
- We never use your data for advertising.
- We never let AI providers train their models on your data.
4. Who we share with
We share information only with trusted providers that help us run Creeklytics — cloud hosting, sign-in, and AI services that answer your questions — and only as needed. They are bound to protect it and use it only for us.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users. If CreekData is ever acquired, this policy will continue to apply to your information.
5. Browser storage
We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as light or dark mode. Very large files you open may be saved on your own computer so they reopen quickly. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. How we protect it
Data is encrypted while travelling and while stored. Access keys for your connected services are kept in encrypted storage and never shown in the browser. Each workbook can only be opened by its owner and the people they invite, and important actions are recorded in an activity log.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your account and content while your account is active. If you delete content it is removed from the service; if you ask us to close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep certain records.
8. Your choices and rights
You can view, download, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR in Europe or CCPA in California), you may have additional rights. Email support@creeklytics.com and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Creeklytics is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will let you know in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
